Itinerary
Day 1: Marrakech – Telwet – Ait Ben Haddou – Ouarzazate
Your travel to mezouga dunes begins with a drive across the high atlas mountains.Ascend through the 7,413-foot (2,260-meter) Tizi N’Tichka Pass and see beautiful villages suspended on the flanks of the mountainsStop for lunch and tour in the World heritage site of Ait Benhaddou. (This famous kasbah was used as a backdrop for more than 20 films.).overnight in ouarzazate
Day 2: Ouarzazate – Dades gorges – Tinghir – Todra gorges
Leaving ouarzazate toward skoura where we’ll visit the Amredhyle Kasbah, one of the wonders of the southern “Route of the thousand kasbahs”. The road then leads us through the Valley of the Roses where we’ll stop in Kella M’Gouna. Heading boumalen and reach tinghir with its fabulous canyons. At the Todra Canyons, we have lunch at a local restaurant. Later we will have free time to walk around the “gorges”, to enjoy the river and the fabulous views.overnight in hotel.
Day 3: Todra gorges – Tinjdad – Erfoud – Merzouga desert camp
Early morning,and after the breakfast departure to Erfoud . Berber villages are scattered along the way, We’ll pass through Tinjdad, Jorf and Erfoud in which we’ll feel the beginning of the Saharan oasis of Tafilalet, and the we continue to Merzouga,after relaxing few minuts in Merzouga,we go to the camels who are waiting to take us on an adventure in the sand dunes. We will spend the night in an equipped camp with drums music in the middle of the Sahara, we go to a high dunes to see the sunset , we will spend the night in nomad tents.
Day 4: Merzouga – Khamlia – Nomad vilages – Erg Chebbi – Merzouga
We will wake up early to see the spectacular sunrise over the dunes before making our way back to the hotel for a shower. and Afert breakfast heading to Khamlia village to enjoy live Gnawa music, continue through an off-road to have a tour of sand dunes then stop to have a tea with nomads in berber tents you will discover a new sence of life.from there back to the hotel.
Day 5: Merzouga – Erfoud – Errachidia -Midelt – Ifrane – Fes
Wake up early morning ,and after the breakfast. You will depart to Errachidia via Erfoud, Aoufous and the valley of Ziz then stopping for a panoramic view of the oasis of Aoufous in the Tafilalte region. Continuation to Midelt across the pass of Tizi N’talghamt and have lunch break. After lunch you will be driven to Fes via the Cedar forest near Azrou and the mountain of the middle Atlas with the possibility to see the Barbary apes (monkies). You may have a stop in Ifrane (the Switzerland of Morocco) before arriving to Fes. End of our services.
