Wake up early morning, and after the breakfast you will depart to Errachidia via Erfoud, Aoufous and the valley of Ziz then stopping for a panoramic view of the oasis of Aoufous in the Tafilalte region. Continuation to Midelt across the pass of Tizi N’talghamt and have lunch break. After lunch you will be driven to Fes via the Cedar forest near Azrou and the mountain of the middle Atlas with the possibility to see the Barbary apes (monkies). Itinerary
Day 1: Fes – Ifrane – Midelt – Errachidia – Erfoud – Merzouga
Your driver will meet you at your riad or hotel at 8:00a.m., depart and transport (8 hours) over the Middle Atlas mountains through the cedar forests of Ifrane (the Switzerland of Morocco), Azrou, Midelt and the Ziz gorges towards Sahara, until the Erg Chebbi dunes appear on the horizon, after relaxing few minuts in Merzouga,we go to the camels who are waiting to take us on an adventure in the sand dunes. We will spend the night in an equipped camp with drums music in the middle of the Sahara, we go to a high dunes to see the sunset , we will spend the night in nomad tents.
Day 2: Merzouga – Khamlia – Nomad villages – Erg Chebbi – Merzouga
We will wake up early to see the spectacular sunrise over the dunes before making our way back to the hotel for a shower. and After breakfast heading to Khamlia village to enjoy live Gnawa music, continue through an off-road to have a tour of sand dunes then stop to have a tea with nomads in berber tents you will discover a new sence of life. From there back to the hotel.
